I think there's probably a very obvious way to do this in Krita and I just missed it ? Paste alpha : A filter that can, among other things, replace the alpha on a layer with the alpha or shades of gray from an image in the clipboard. This is more of a practical thing, but I do wish I had it. The Advanced Color Picker kind of has sliders, I think, but the lack of numbers makes it difficult both to read and use. I'd like to be able to use abrupt curves and free 'curve drawing' (words are hard) as I find them quite useful for alpha adjustment.Ĭolor picker with adjustment sliders : I wasn't able to find a color picker that has number sliders. Apologies if I'm using the wrong words for things or if I'm looking for obvious things, I don't know a whole lot about digital art.īetter adjustment curves : Krita has these but they don't seem as practical as the Curves+ Paint.NET plugin. If possible, I'd like to know where I could find them, some alternatives or ways to do the same things, be it out of the box or with extensions. I've been at it for a couple days now and I'm liking it so far, much easier to use than GIMP or Photoshop for me, but I'm having trouble doing some of the things I can do easily on Paint.NET. Since Photoshop is costly and GIMP is hard, until now, I used Paint.NET, a mouse and several bajillion plugins to do everything, but I decided to try Krita because having access to masks and brushes would be cool. I don't draw at all but I do some coloring and editing of anime artwork for fun.
